Dr. Ewald grew up in the suburbs of Detroit and attended Detroit Catholic Central High School.
He attended St. Louis University, Missouri, receiving his Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
He completed his Masters of Science and Research in Neuroanatomy, going on to receive his M.D. from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1997.
He is a board-certified family medicine practitioner following his residency at William Beaumont Hospital-Troy in 2000.
Dr. Ewald currently lives in Rochester with wife, Kim, and their five daughters.
Medical interests include sports medicine, diagnosis and treatment of mood disorders, and preventative medicine.
